Apparo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered fashion tech pack generation platform operated by Sleek Apparels. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information — including Google user data — when you use our platform at apparo.io.

2. Google User Data We Collect

When you sign in with your Google account, we request access to the following Google user data through the Google Sign-In API:

• Your name — used to personalize your account and display your identity in the app
• Your email address — used as your primary account identifier and for account-related communications
• Your profile picture — used to display your avatar in the app interface

This data is accessed via Google's OAuth 2.0 scopes: email and profile. We do not request access to any other Google APIs, services, or data beyond what is necessary for authentication.

3. How We Use Google User Data

We use your Google user data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Authentication — verifying your identity so you can securely access your account
• Account management — creating and maintaining your user profile in our system
• Service delivery — associating your generated tech packs with your account so you can access them across sessions
• Communication — sending account-related notifications (e.g., service updates, security alerts) to your email

We do not use your Google user data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing and improving Apparo's core functionality.

4. Other Data We Collect

In addition to Google user data, we collect:

• Tech pack data — the designs, specifications, and prompts you create using our AI tools
• Usage data — features used, generation frequency, and IP address for rate limiting
• Technical data — browser type, device information, and cookies for authentication and security

5. How We Share and Disclose Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data or Google user data to any third parties.

We may share data only with the following service providers who help us operate Apparo:

• Google Firebase — for authentication, database (Firestore), and hosting. Firebase processes your data in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
• Google Gemini AI — for generating tech packs from your prompts. Your prompts are sent to Gemini for processing but are not used to train AI models.

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the purposes of providing services to Apparo and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose data if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Apparo, our users, or others.

6. Data Storage and Protection

Your Google user data and account information are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which provides:

• Encryption at rest — all data is encrypted when stored
• Encryption in transit — all data transfers use TLS/SSL encryption
• Access controls — Firebase Security Rules restrict database access to authenticated users only

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your Google user data and account information for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time:

• Email us at raj@sleekapparels.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”
• We will delete your personal information and Google user data within 30 days of receiving your request
• Generated tech packs associated with your account will also be deleted

After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Children's Privacy

Apparo is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
